Kutztown, PA - The Kutztown Fire & Rescue hosted a specialized training session in partnership with First Due Autism Training.
The class, led by Zach Kirsch and Jackie Ginther, focused on autism awareness for first responders. Personnel were trained on effective communication strategies, behavioral understanding, and best practices when interacting with individuals on the autism spectrum during emergency situations.
This training provides responders with the knowledge and confidence to deliver more effective, compassionate, and safe care when serving all members of the community.
