Dracut FD FF Rome Demers

FF Rome Demers retired from the Dracut FD on August 17th. He started on the call department in 1987 and then got hired as a full time firefighter in 1995. Romeo served 35 total years on the department, always trying to impart his wisdom as a true senior man. Romeo was the Dracut Firefighter of the year in 2012 and also served for 5 years on the dive team in his tenure. Romeo has been maintaining and driving this 1948 Diamond T parade piece for Dracut whenever necessary, including the Memorial Day parade. Well known for his skills around the pump, he continues to pass on his wealth of knowledge to the new generation.
