Multi-Company Training Focuses on Extrication and Patient Care

Union, GA - The Union County Fire Department conducted a multi-company training session at Station 1 centered on vehicle extrication and patient packaging techniques.


During the training, personnel practiced essential skills including cervical spine stabilization, proper application of C-collars, and the use of long backboards. Crews also reviewed effective methods for safely removing patients from vehicles involved in collisions.


The hands-on training reinforced critical rescue and patient care procedures, ensuring responders remain prepared to handle complex motor vehicle accidents safely and efficiently.
