Jay, Maine — July 4 — During local Independence Day celebrations, Jay Fire & Rescue joined citizens from three nearby villages in commemorating America's 250th birthday. While attending the community event, firefighters continued to be on call for emergencies during the holiday. Families, neighborhood organizations, and first responders came together to commemorate the country's 250th anniversary.
