Avon Volunteer Fire Department Responds to 70 Calls in June

According to the department's monthly response statistics, the Avon Volunteer Fire Department responded to 70 emergency events in June.
Twenty-four fire alarms, nine smoke and gas investigations, seven car crashes, seven public assistance calls, four carbon monoxide alarms, and four wire outages were among the calls. In addition, duty officer replies, service calls, fires, illegal burns, special events, mutual aid assignments, and medical assistance were all handled by firefighters.
