Bethel Fire & EMS Mourns Loss of West Redding Firefighter

After volunteer firefighter and Bridgeport police officer Cooper Whiteside passed away on July 14, the West Redding Fire Department received condolences from the Bethel Fire & EMS Department.
In a car accident in Danbury, Whiteside and his girlfriend perished. He was a police officer with the Bridgeport Police Department and a volunteer with the Brookfield Fire Department before joining the West Redding Fire Department. Additionally, he has sponsored local activities in Bethel, such as the yearly Firecracker Road Race.
During this trying time, Bethel Fire & EMS sent their condolences to Whiteside's family, friends, and fellow first responders.
