East Greenwich Firefighters Marked America's 250th Birthday

East Greenwich, R.I. — July 4 — IAFF Local 3328 of the East Greenwich Firefighters Association joined locals in commemorating the United States' 250th anniversary and Independence Day. Throughout the holiday, locals attended parades, fireworks, and family activities while firefighters were prepared to respond. To promote safe community celebrations, departments around Rhode Island collaborated with law enforcement, emergency medical services, and mutual assistance partners.


The group commended the people for reducing emergencies throughout the hectic holiday and urged locals and guests to celebrate properly. A secure and prosperous Fourth of July was made possible by the community's and emergency responders' ongoing collaboration, which also honored the country's history and enduring customs.
