East Meredith, N.Y. — June 21 — Fathers who serve their family and the community were honored on Father's Day by the East Meredith Fire Department, located at 6192 County Highway 10. The department recognized the commitment of firefighter fathers who manage training, public service, emergency response, and household duties. Father's Day gave firefighters a chance to honor the assistance families provide to volunteers who respond to emergencies around-the-clock.

The values of dedication, leadership, and cooperation that support volunteer departments were represented in the celebration. Additionally, the department conveyed gratitude to the families whose support enables firemen to serve their community year-round.
