— July 14 — At the Toms River Fire Training Center, members of Freewood Acres Fire Company No. 1 recently took part in live vehicle fire training.

Firefighters had the chance to study strategies utilized in car fire situations and practice fire suppression procedures in a controlled setting during the practical exercise. Firefighters can gain experience and retain the abilities necessary to react to situations in a safe and efficient manner by participating in live fire training.
