Kingston Crews Sharpen Technical Rescue Skills

This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

On June 21, eighteen firemen from Kingston Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 finished a three-hour motor vehicle extrication course at Circle Automotive.

Crews tested extrication methods, patient evacuation techniques, and vehicle stabilization during traffic incidents. Firefighters were able to hone the technical rescue abilities necessary for EMS professionals to safely treat and transport trapped patients thanks to the practical scenario.

For hosting the training, the department expressed gratitude to Circle Automotive on Deans Lane.
