Masonville, N.Y. — June 25 — Every year, the Masonville Volunteer Fire Department, located at 15488 State Highway 8, tested all six ground ladders to make sure they complied with safety and operating requirements. Both department engines were removed for the planned inspections at the Sidney Fire Department, where the evaluations were carried out. In keeping with a long-standing collaboration with the department, American Test Center conducted the testing.
An established fire department procedure that helps detect damage, confirms structural integrity, and guarantees equipment is still prepared for emergency responses is annual ladder testing. In addition to protecting the public and enhancing firefighter safety, the inspections reaffirmed the department's dedication to dependable equipment and operational readiness.
