Marlton, N.J. — June 16 — Seven individuals who earned Firefighter I certification during the Spring 2026 academy session were acknowledged by the Department Evesham Fire-Rescue, located at 984 Tuckerton Road, Suite 205. Pierce Atkins and Jordi Torres graduated from the Camden County Fire Academy, while Jacob Schneider, Evan Fox, Gavin Kusen, Chris Carroll Jr., and Destini Thurston completed training at the Burlington County Fire Academy.

Classroom teaching, live-fire drills, rescue methods, understanding of hazardous items, and assessments of practical abilities were all part of the certification curriculum. The accomplishment demonstrated each member's dedication to serving Evesham Township via ongoing training, collaboration, and professional development in the fire service and enhanced the department's operational readiness.
