On June 16, firefighters Andy Andican and Patrick Losey obtained their New Jersey Firefighter I and Firefighter II certificates, and the Frankford Township Fire Department acknowledged them.

Before passing their final practical assessments, the two underwent more than 350 hours of instruction over the course of six months at the Sussex County Community College Public Safety instruction Academy. Both members became inside firefighters after receiving their credentials, moving up from probationary firemen.

Department representatives praised Andican and Losey on their accomplishment and expressed excitement for their future development.
