Hammonton, N.J. — June 21 — The Hammonton Fire Department celebrated Father's Day by honoring fathers, grandfathers, and father figures. The department expressed gratitude to volunteer firefighters for juggling training, public service, emergency response, and family obligations all year long. The families whose assistance kept members prepared to serve the community were also recognized by the leaders.

The department, which was based at 100 Central Avenue, continued to offer Hammonton and the surrounding areas public education, emergency response, fire prevention, and fire protection. The award honored dads' accomplishments at home and in the fire service while highlighting the critical role that firefighters and their families played in promoting public safety.
