Cinnaminson, N.J. — June 16 — Jahiem Jones, a probationary firefighter, received recognition from the Cinnaminson Fire Department following his completion of the Firefighter I training at the Burlington County Emergency Services Training Center. Over the course of the preceding six months, Jones attended department exercises and community events in addition to completing more than 200 hours of basic firefighter training.

The next phase of his service began when Chief Phil Drangula, Training Officer Lt. Clancy, and department mentor Firefighter Mattson gave him his firefighter helmet after he received his graduation certificate. The Firefighter I program equips new firefighters with the abilities and information required to serve their communities and safely respond to emergencies.
