Burlington, N.J. — July 18 — Following their receipt of the Valor Award at the 2026 Burlington County Fire and EMS Chiefs' Association Emergency Services Awards ceremony, Lt. Zach Amodio, Firefighters Dakota DiLoreto, Joshua Nemeth, and Kyle Conard were honored by the Burlington Township Fire Department. They were honored for saving two individuals from a house fire on April 2, 2025.

The yearly event recognized emergency responders whose deeds demonstrated commitment, cooperation, and professionalism while serving their communities. Operating out of 1601 Burlington Bypass, the department remained dedicated to serving the people of Burlington Township by offering fire protection, rescue, emergency medical assistance, and public safety services.
