Bordentown, N.J. — July 4 — Bordentown Fire District 2 celebrated the United States' 250th anniversary on Independence Day and urged locals to enjoy the occasion safely. The brigade continued to provide public safety, emergency response, and fire protection services throughout Fire District No. 2, operating out of 262 Crosswicks Road (Route 528). The agency reminded the community that professional public fireworks displays are still the safest option as families gathered for parades, cookouts, and fireworks.

Residents were urged to adhere to New Jersey safety regulations and keep water close by when using permitted ground-based pyrotechnics.
