On June 18, Firefighter Lucas Reed received recognition from the Amwell Valley Fire Company after graduating from Hunterdon Central Regional High School.

Reed intends to further his studies at Sacred Heart University, where he will minor in sports communication and major in media arts. According to department representatives, they are pleased with his academic success and eager for him to continue serving the fire department while attending college.
