On June 15, the National Volunteer Fire Council and Anheuser-Busch's Emergency Drinking Water for Wildland Firefighters program donated emergency drinking water to the Parkertown Volunteer Fire Company.

The water donation will aid firefighters in times of excessive heat, prolonged emergency responses, and wildfire occurrences. The consignment was brought to the department's station by Jersey Beverage Network.

Anheuser-Busch, the National Volunteer Fire Council, and Jersey Beverage Network were praised by department leaders for their contributions to ensuring firemen have access to clean drinking water while defending the neighborhood.
