Hinsdale, NY - The Hinsdale Volunteer Fire Department conducted a drill focused on HydrAssist operations, providing newer drivers with hands-on experience using the specialized system.

The HydrAssist setup is designed to improve water supply by using a secondary engine to boost pressure from a hydrant to the primary apparatus. This technique is especially valuable in areas with low hydrant pressure or when long supply lines are required.

In addition to HydrAssist training, members practiced various hose bed lays to enhance efficiency and adaptability during emergency responses.
