Orange, VT - Members of the Wells River Fire Department participated in a full day of training alongside firefighters from Newbury and Woodsville, working together to enhance essential firefighting skills.
Training evolutions began with SCBA donning drills and firefighter CPR, followed by a series of hands-on scenarios including forcible entry, search and rescue, window bailouts, hoseline advancement, and search operations off a hoseline.
These evolutions allowed participants to build on core fundamentals and apply them in realistic, scenario-based conditions.
Instruction was led by Chris Grover, whose guidance and expertise enabled crews to cover a broad range of topics while strengthening operational readiness.
The training highlighted the value of interagency cooperation and ongoing skill development, ensuring firefighters remain prepared to respond effectively to real-world emergencies.
