Orland, ME - Members of the Orland Fire Department conducted an impromptu training session focused on pump operations, combining classroom discussion with hands-on application. Crews reviewed engine functions and water movement principles before transitioning to field exercises.


Training was carried out at Toddy Dam, where firefighters practiced drafting, operating in pressure mode, hose handling, deck gun use, and tank refilling. The session provided valuable hands-on experience, allowing members to apply concepts and strengthen overall pump operation proficiency.
