On June 24, Lee Fire Rescue responded to six service requests, managing many crises while keeping the town covered.

Within four minutes of each other in the morning, crews responded to two incidents: a car accident in Webster that resulted in no injuries and a medical emergency in Mattawamkeag. To maintain paramedic-level coverage, the station was staffed with additional people.

Firefighters made three interfacility medical transfers while responding to another call in Mattawamkeag later in the day. According to department officials, 24 employees assisted with station coverage and emergency responses during the hectic day.
