The volunteers who assisted in planning the town's America's 250th anniversary parade on June 21 were acknowledged by the Townsend Fire-EMS Department.
Firefighters acknowledged the several volunteers who helped make the event a success and joined the community in celebrating the historic milestone. The department posted pictures taken both before and during the procession, showcasing the high level of community involvement.
