Endicott, NY - The Endicott Fire Department announced the graduation of Recruit Firefighter Hontz from the Binghamton Fire Department Recruit Training Academy following the successful completion of an intensive 18-week program. Hontz returns to the department as a certified professional firefighter in New York State, prepared to begin a long and dedicated career in the fire service.

The department has a longstanding tradition of sending recruits to the Binghamton training academy and continues to recognize the program as an exceptional foundation for new firefighters. Appreciation is extended to the City of Binghamton, Fire Chief Edwards, Training Chief Dahulich, and the academy instructors for their commitment to developing the next generation of firefighters through their experience, knowledge, and leadership.
