Whitingham Fire Department Marked America's 250th Birthday

Whitingham, Vt. — July 4 — The Whitingham Fire Department celebrated Independence Day and commemorated the United States' 250th anniversary alongside communities nationwide. In addition to honoring the nation's past, the department recognized the ongoing contributions of law enforcement, firefighters, EMS personnel, veterans, and other public safety professionals.


Additionally, officials urged citizens to observe local fireworks safety regulations and be mindful of potential fire hazards during holiday events in order to enjoy responsibly. The celebration honored the generations-long heritage of volunteerism and public service that has supported emergency response efforts across the country and strengthened communities.
