On June 28, the Manchester Fire Department joined the community in honoring the team's accomplishment by taking part in the Burr and Burton Academy Unified Basketball Team National Champions Parade.
As people lined the streets to applaud the athletes, firefighters assisted in escorting the championship parade through Manchester. The occasion brought the community together to celebrate the players' achievement and acknowledged the Unified Basketball Team's national championship.
