Boy Scouts Earn Fire Safety Merit Badge at Bridgewater Fire Station

This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

During the final week of June, the Bridgewater Fire Department hosted a tour and fire safety education session for Boy Scout Troop 31 and Pack 31.

The scouts were given an overview of the department's fire apparatus by Firefighter Gunnarson, who also explained the equipment carried for emergency reactions and the function of each vehicle.

The tour gave the scouts a closer look at the operations of local firemen while also assisting them in their quest for the Fire Safety Merit Badge.
