East Brooklyn Fire Department Reports 52 June Calls

This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

Over 30 medical crises were among the 52 emergency calls that the East Brooklyn Fire Department handled in June.

According to department officials, the consistent call volume is a reflection of the community's rising need for emergency services. The department is looking for more volunteers who are interested in firefighting, emergency medical services, or supporting department operations in order to help fulfill that demand.
