Winter Harbor, Maine — July 4 — The Winter Harbor Fire Department celebrated Independence Day and America's 250th birthday alongside local towns nationwide. Over the course of the holiday weekend, which frequently sees an uptick in emergency calls pertaining to travel, boating, outdoor cooking, and fireworks, firefighters were prepared to react.
