Brookline, N.H. — June 21 — In honor of Father's Day, the Brookline NH Fire Department Association honored fathers who provide fire and emergency services to their families and communities. The department recognized the dedication of firefighter fathers who manage training, public duty, emergency response, and family obligations.

Family support is crucial to the work of firefighters since they frequently work nighttime shifts, weekends, and holidays defending their communities. Retired members, volunteers, and career firefighters whose contribution goes beyond the firehouse were also recognized. In addition to acknowledging their commitment at home and in the community, the department wished all fathers a happy and safe Father's Day.
