Wolfeboro Fire-Rescue Welcomes Three New Firefighter/EMTs

This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

As part of its fire-based ambulance transport program, which voters authorized at town meetings in 2025 and 2026, the Wolfeboro Fire-Rescue Department welcomed three new full-time employees.

Ryan Paterson and Casey Burrage were lateral transfers from different fire departments in New Hampshire. Claire Richard became the department's first full-time female firefighter/EMT after more than a year of service as a call firefighter/EMT.

As the department strives to grow its emergency medical services, the three firefighters formally started their work on July 6.
