Auburn, ME - Auburn - Maine Fire Department, working alongside Auburn Police, responded to an unusual call on Towle Street involving a group of ducklings in need of help.

Crews safely rescued 11 ducklings, ensuring they were out of harm’s way. The lighthearted call was a welcome reminder that not every response involves an emergency, but every one is an opportunity to help.

Firefighters were happy to assist these “waddle” citizens and bring a positive outcome to the situation.
