Orange, MA - Orange Fire Rescue EMS recently conducted a hands-on fire safety training session at Impact Nano, teaching employees how to properly use fire extinguishers during early-stage fires.

Using a training prop borrowed from the Athol Fire Department, participants practiced shutting off equipment power, activating the building alarm, and extinguishing a simulated fire in a controlled setting.

The training emphasized quick decision-making and proper response during incipient-stage fires, giving participants valuable, real-world experience.

The department noted they are currently fundraising to purchase their own training prop, allowing them to expand these important community education efforts.
