Pleasantville, NJ - Pleasantville Fire Department launched Day 1 of its annual Fire Cadet Camp, giving participants a hands-on introduction to the demands of the fire service.

Cadets were divided into two platoons and began the day with physical training alongside Pleasantville firefighters, building teamwork and discipline from the start.

Training evolutions included rappelling from a second-story window, stretching hose lines and flowing water, and learning essential fire service knots. The day focused on developing confidence, basic skills, and a strong foundation for the days ahead.
