Binghamton Firefighters Remember Lt. Scott Pavlick's Service and Legacy

On the first anniversary of Lt. Scott Pavlick's line-of-duty death, Binghamton Fire Department personnel paid tribute to him on June 3.


According to officials, Pavlick was promoted to lieutenant in 2023 after serving the City of Binghamton for more than 17 years. He was honored for his contributions to the department, his fellow firefighters, and the community. He is remembered as a devoted public servant, respected leader, and devoted fireman. Members of the department also considered his role as a loving parent and spouse while keeping his family in mind.


The department also encouraged community support for the upcoming Lt. Scott Pavlick Heart-Strong 5K and Festival, with proceeds benefiting the Lt. Scott Pavlick Memorial Fund established in his honor.
