Nashua, NH - Nashua Fire Rescue Engine 3 conducted drafting training at the Mine Falls boat ramp off Stadium Drive to enhance water supply operations in areas without hydrants.

During the training, Firefighter Fitz instructed Firefighters Bicking and Niemiera on pumping operations and drafting techniques, which allow crews to draw water from ponds, rivers, and lakes when hydrants are unavailable or insufficient.

Officials said the training is part of ongoing efforts to maintain firefighter proficiency and ensure crews are prepared to establish reliable water supply operations during emergency incidents.
