Binghamton, NY - Four members of the Binghamton Fire Department successfully completed a 4-day Trench Operations Technician course hosted by the New York State Office of Fire Prevention and Control at Binghamton University.

The program combined classroom instruction with hands-on training, covering trench collapse recognition, hazard assessment, shoring systems, victim access, and technical rescue operations.
