Five burning trucks were reported to the Medford Fire Department on July 31. When Medford 30 arrived after reporting significant smoke, they discovered two trucks, a trailer, and burning tires.
Soon after, Medford engine firms showed up. Medford 30 asked Holtsville and Farmingville for extra engines due to staffing shortages. Crews from Medford and mutual aid collaborated to put out the fire.
The fire was put out and the situation was under control after around thirty minutes of activities.
