Enhancing Roadway Safety: Foster Crews Complete TIM Training

Foster, RI - Members of the Foster Center Volunteer Fire Company recently joined town partners for Traffic Incident Management (TIM) training focused on improving safety at roadway emergencies.
Traffic incidents such as crashes, disabled vehicles, downed wires, and vehicle fires present some of the highest risks to responders. The training emphasized proven strategies to reduce those dangers and improve scene control.
Crews practiced proper apparatus positioning, traffic redirection techniques, coordinated multi-agency communication, and hands-on use of traffic control equipment to establish safe and efficient work zones.
