Members of the Fremont Fire Rescue Department attended Robert "Bobby" Kilduff Jr.'s funeral ceremonies in Boston on June 1st in remembrance of his life and service.

Firefighter Kilduff, a member of the Boston Fire Department Rescue Company 2, was honored by thousands of firefighters from around the United States and Canada, according to officials, including Firefighter Nathan Epstein of Fremont and Lieutenant Jason Fellows of Kingston. On May 23, 2026, Kilduff passed away while performing his duties at Box 3-1826.

According to department commanders, the firefighters' presence was a reflection of the fire service's custom of uniting in remembrance of those who gave their lives.
