Firefighters Honor Captain Pesula's Legacy on June 22

Members of the Hooksett Fire Rescue Department paid tribute to Captain Daniel Pesula on June 22nd, the tenth anniversary of his death from occupational cancer.


According to officials, individuals who had the chance to work with Captain Pesula are still motivated by his bravery, devotion, and dedication to serve the Hooksett community. The department also took use of the event to acknowledge the continued risks that firefighters face from occupational cancer, a major health issue within the fire service as a result of frequent exposure to dangerous situations.


Leaders of the department commemorated Captain Pesula's legacy of sacrifice and devotion, emphasizing that his contributions to the department and community will go on.
