Newbury, NH - Newbury Fire Rescue conducted water supply training focused on tanker shuttle and drafting operations, using Tanker 1 and Engine 4 to supply Engine 2 as would be required during an active fire scene.
The drill was held at Mount Sunapee State Beach, a designated drafting location where crews practiced establishing a reliable water source from the lake for use during rural or remote fire incidents.
The training reinforced coordinated water delivery operations in areas without hydrant access.
