Merrimack, NH - Merrimack Fire Rescue new trainees completed hands-on instruction focused on essential firefighter skills, including building ladder operations, equipment movement, and rapid self-exit techniques using a department bailout prop.


Training also reinforced interior search procedures and firefighter CPR skills, ensuring recruits build a strong foundation in both rescue operations and emergency medical response.


The department noted that the recruits are progressing through their final phase of group instruction before moving into shift-based probationary training.
