The Burlington Fire Department welcomed five new recruits on May 27th, marking the formal start of Academy 26-01's training program.
Recruits Aaron Sherman, Vikas Mangipudi, Paul Cirignano, Kyle Blanchard, and Isaac Bauer began their path to become Burlington firefighters, according to officials. The recruits will learn the fundamental duties and obligations of serving the Burlington community over the course of the upcoming months through intensive classroom instruction, practical skill training, and physical fitness.
