Alstead, N.H. — June 9 — In order to enhance mutual aid coordination and water supply operations, Alstead Fire and Rescue took part in a joint training session with North Walpole Fire and Rescue. Firefighters received training on the North Walpole hydrant system, which covered hydrant locations, water flow protocols, and efficient water delivery methods for use in emergency situations.
The practical practice improved coordination between the two departments and gave staff a better understanding of the nearby response region. Before actual situations arise, joint training is crucial for preserving operational preparedness and enhancing communication. Frequent mutual aid drills enable firemen to collaborate more effectively while delivering dependable emergency services to their communities.
