Multi-Agency Training Strengthened Emergency Medical Skills

Hampton, N.H. — June 4 — The Complicated Airway Management Program (CAMP) from Boston MedFlight was hosted by Hampton Fire/Rescue, providing advanced medical training to local EMS and fire service professionals. Participants were given practical training in cricothyrotomy, rapid sequence intubation for adult and pediatric patients, ventilation techniques, intubation, difficult airway management, and suction procedures.


In order to enhance patient care and decision-making during medical emergencies, the training also included realistic simulation exercises. The event was attended by members of the Portsmouth Fire Department, North Hampton Fire & Rescue, and Exeter Fire Department. The incident brought to light the significance of continuing medical education and regional collaboration in emergency response activities.
