FREMONT, N.H. — May 23 — In remembrance of Boston Fire Department firefighter Robert Kilduff Jr., who lost his life while performing his duties, the Fremont Fire Rescue Department joined the emergency services community. Kilduff, a 24-year veteran assigned to Rescue 2, sustained injuries while responding to a Boston three-alarm fire on Treadway Road. As a member of the US Marine Corps, he also served his country.

His children, relatives, friends, and fellow Boston Fire Department personnel received condolences from fire departments around New England. The death served as a reminder of the dangers firefighters encounter on a daily basis while defending their communities and helping those in need.
