EXETER, N.H. — May 28 — Exeter Fire Department personnel took part in low-visibility training intended to improve their abilities in emergency situations where operations may be hampered by smoke and poor vision. While operating in simulated low-visibility situations, firefighters practiced victim search procedures, collaboration, radio communication, and appropriate equipment use. Crews were able to reaffirm protocols utilized during structural fires and other difficult responses thanks to the training.

Frequent drills enhance crew member cooperation and help firemen stay proficient in search operations. Training under realistic conditions also improves safe and effective decision-making during emergencies. The department's continuous dedication to preparedness, firefighter safety, and professional growth included this exercise.
