Berlin Fire Company and West Berlin Fire-Rescue Conduct Water Supply Training

This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

Berlin, NJ - Members of Berlin Fire Company No. 1 recently joined West Berlin Fire-Rescue for a hands-on water supply training exercise. Firefighters practiced establishing a water supply from a static water source through drafting operations and reviewed the deployment and operation of portable pumps.

Training of this nature helps ensure crews are prepared to provide a reliable water supply in areas where hydrants are unavailable or inaccessible, strengthening operational readiness for a variety of emergency incidents.

The department extends its appreciation to the Lion Tamers Club for allowing the use of its facilities for this valuable training opportunity.
